FN® NANO is 100 times more powerful than any other TiO2 using product, making it the most effective, non-toxic air purifier on the planet, and a leader among its competitors worldwide.
Unlike any product on the market, FN® NANO uses a special binder accessible to air, keeping the TiO2 (titanium dioxide) crystals on the surface of the coating to maximize their efficiency above and beyond!
Architects, contractors, and building occupants can rest assured that the photocatalytic films have been tested extensively.
To be considered an effective air purifying technology, any coating must have at least a 10% efficiency.
FN Nano® Photocatalytic Film reaches an astonishing 95% efficiency, while our competitors average 7% or less.
We use large amounts of very high quality Titanium Dioxide as a catalyst unlike the majority of our competitors using electrostatic sprays with extremely diluted solutions (dilute by 100x compared to our FN2 product).
Take care of the planet and your wallet!
Catalyst Nanotek stands behind the FN® NANO Photocatalytic Film technology and its 10 year product warranty. FN® Photocatalytic Films are not “paints”. This is the means by which you can change every wall and ceiling of your dwelling into an efficient nanotechnology air purifier.
Unlike electro-mechanical air filters, FN® works silently, failure-free and maintenance-free, with a minimum cost of operation (only if artificial UVA lighting source is necessary).
Its functionality is long-lasting. Unless the surface FN® photocatalytic film layer is mechanically removed or covered with other material and/or the ultraviolet light is affected, it can work for decades without problems.
FN® Nano Photocatalytic System’s effectiveness is comparable to that of standard air purifiers. However, unlike standard air purifiers, it can deal with extremely small concentrations of some foreign substances that these purifiers cannot handle, it only does not provide dust filtration or air ionization. As far as operating costs are concerned, the FN® Nano Photocatalytic System is considerably less expensive than the conventional air purifier
In August of 2007, the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory released a report for the California Energy Commission. Lawrence Berkley Lab reported on the efficacy of photocatalytic materials. Each square meter of high-performance photocatalytic material, exposed to outdoor sunlight, can remove nitrogen oxides from about 200 cubic meters of air per day. The removal rate for volatile organic species is about 60 cubic meters of air per day. The report indicates that most VOCs can be readily oxidized by photocatalytic oxidation. Treating ceilings and walls with FN® NANO (titanium dioxide nanoparticles) is a simple, fast and inexpensive solution to indoor and outdoor air pollution.
FN® NANO Photocatalytic FIlms have also passed a series of tests including the International Standard Organization (ISO), ISO 16000-10, and ISO 16000-11 methods, which are a part of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) standard method. ISO 16000-10:2006 specifies a general laboratory test method for determination of the area specific emission rate of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from newly produced building products or furnishing under defined climate conditions. Additional certifications include: ISO 22197 – 1, ISO 22197 – 2, ISO 22197 – 3,
ISO 22197 – 4.
